No-Frills 2009

The Berks & South Bucks No-Frills will be held at Aldershot Garrison pool on Saturday 9th May 2009

The No-Frills - so called because it has no medals, presentations or finals - concentrates on enabling swimmers to have a last crack to gain National Qualifying Times for the 2009 National Championships before the closing date for registrations.

05/05:The (non-printable) programme has been updated. This is to reflect the withdrawals that have occurred, and add names of the next swimmers on the list as a result. NOTE the rejection list has NOT been updated - the successful swimmer's clubs have been notified they have swims.

26/04: The meet is greatly oversubscribed so rejections had, regrettably, to be made.

You can download the promoter's conditions, which also includes the qualifying and cut off times, and event schedule.

Individual swimmers (and those in clubs) should use the electronic entry form - which validates your entry times at the point of submission. The User Guide explains how to use it if you need it. The electronic form runs on most computers using either Microsoft Excel or the free OpenOffice.org. (It does not, however work with the Mac iNumbers program). The completed form should be e-mailed to your club entry co-ordinator, and entry fees paid to your club.

Only if all else fails should the paper entry form be used - as the qualifying limits are not checked again until entry processing - where a mistake will get your entry rejected.

Club Entry Co-ordinators

The received entries should be consolidated with the SportsSystem package using the supplied Meet Data Files. If you are unsure about this the User Guide explains the use. Entries should be forwarded to the Meet Organisers as detailed in the notes. The payment from your club for the meet should be accompanied by a print out of the completed the Summary of Consolidated Entries form.
